นอกจากที่พักแล้ว ยังมีอีกอย่างนึงที่เราเพิ่งรู้จัก ก็คือ Airbnb Experience มันคือการที่คนท้องถิ่นจัดกิจกรรมที่น่าสนใจขึ้นมา โดยที่พวกเค้าจะพานักท่องเที่ยวอย่างพวกเราไปทำกิจกรรมนั้นๆ เช่น พาไปล่องเรือ เดินป่า พาไปถ่ายรูป สอนทำขนม สอนจัดดอกไม้ ง่ายๆก็คล้ายกับเราซื้อทัวร์แหละ บางครั้งก็ไปกันเป็นกลุ่ม บางครั้งก็ไปแบบส่วนตัว ชอบแบบไหนก็แล้วแต่เราเลือกเลย หลังจากได้ลองแล้วเราชอบมาก เพราะรู้สึกว่าแบบนี้มันไม่แมส ไม่โหลดี เราก็จะได้ประสบการณ์ที่ต่างออกไปจากเดิม เราได้ลองมาแล้วสองอย่าง ชอบทั้งสองอย่างเลย
Another Airbnb feature we’d really recommend is Airbnb Experiences.
Airbnb Experiences are activities designed and led by locals for anyone who’s interested no matter you’re renting out an Airbnb place or not. It’s like you book a one day tour but not those visiting museums and palaces kind of things. You can go on a cruise, trekking, photo tour, join a cooking or flower arrangement class. We think this is really a great idea coz you get to experience something different. We really enjoyed the activities we did and San Francisco.

ช่วงเวลาที่อยู่บนเรือยอร์ชเป็นอีกช่วงเวลาที่เราประทับใจสุดๆ จุดนัดพบห่างมาจากที่พักพอสมควร เราก็เลยเรียกอูเบอร์ให้ไปส่ง พอไปถึงกัปตันมาร์คก็รออยู่แล้ว รอยยิ้มที่ใจดีของเค้าทำให้เราเข้ากันได้อย่างรวดเร็ว นี่เป็น Private ทัวร์ ทั้งเรือก็เลยจะมีแค่เรา ตาล และกัปตันแค่สามคน เรือยอร์ชขนาดกลางๆ ไม่ใหญ่ไม่เล็กกำลังพอดี มีที่นั่งชมวิวด้านนอก และมีห้องเล็กๆอยู่ด้านล่าง พร้อมห้องน้ำ เครื่องดื่มและขนมขบเคี้ยวต่างๆก็เตรียมไว้ให้เรียบร้อย ตอนเรือออกจากท่าเราก็มีเรื่องให้ต้องกรี๊ดกร๊าดเพราะหันไปเห็นน้องแมวน้ำตัวอ้วนนอนผึ่งพุงกันหน้าสลอน เรือค่อยๆเคลื่อยผ่าน พวกนางก็เงยหน้ามามอง ส่งสายตาถามประมาณว่า พวกเธอกำลังไปไหนกัน 5555 ตลกดี
We took an Uber to the appointment place where Capt. Mark was already waiting for us. His smile and friendly personality made us feel comfortable and get along with him in no time. There were just us three on the boat. It was roomy and supplied with snacks and drinks. We were sooo excited to see lots of seals on the pier. When we were sailing off they looked at us as if they wanted to know where we were going, lol!
ในระหว่างที่อยู่บนเรือกัปตันก็เล่าประวัติตั้งแต่เริ่มล่องเรือใหม่ๆ ผ่านตรงไหนที่เป็นจุดสำคัญก็จะชี้ให้ดู พร้อมทั้้งเล่าตำนานต่างๆ แลกเปลี่ยนประสบการณ์ต่างกันสนุกมากๆเลย พอเริ่มคุ้นเคยกับเรือและคลื่นซักพัก กัปตันก็ให้มาลองขับเอง หิวก็ไปหยิบจนมมานั่งกิน ลมหนาวโกรกหน้าเบาๆ มองทะเล มองคลื่น และมองธงอเมริกาที่โบกสะบัดตามแรงลมอยู่ท้ายเรือ ความสุขจากการท่องเที่ยว ได้มาเห็นโลกเห็นสิ่งใหม่ๆมันทำให้หัวใจพองโตแบบนี้นี่เอง
Capt. Mark told us interesting history of places we passed along the way. He also let us try to take the wheel! It was such and awesome experience. The moment on the boat was amazing, the feeling of the fresh air on our faces, the turquoise sea and white crested waves and the USA flag waving on the stern. This is why traveling is magical. Seeing things we’ve never seen, doing things we’ve never done, meeting new people make moments spent away from home special.

ถ่ายแสงเช้าตอนพระอาทิตย์ขึ้นที่สะพานโกลเด้นเกตกับไกด์ลารี่ ชาวจีนที่เติบโตที่นิวยอร์ค และมาใช้ชีวิตอยู่ที่ซานฟราน (งงมั๊ย5555) ราคา 70$ ต่อคน ระยะเวลา 2 ชม.
มาเจอกันที่จุดนัดพบ และเค้าก็จะพานั่งรถไปยังอีก 3 จุด ที่เหมาะกับการถ่ายรูปสวยๆยามเช้า
Sunrise photo tour at the Golden Gate Bridge with Larry, a New Yorker who has been living in San Francisco.
Cost: 70$ per person for 2 hours. Larry will take us to 3 prime spots to take photos of beautiful sunrise.
เราสนใจกิจกรรมนี้ก็เพราะว่ามาซานฟรานทั้งที มันต้องได้รูปสะพานโกลเด้นเกตสวยๆ แล้วแสงตอนเช้าเนี่ยเป็นอะไรที่โปรดปรานมาก แต่.. มาเที่ยวต่างบ้านต่างเมือง ผู้หญิงสองคนออกไปตอนเช้ามืด แล้วก็ยังไม่รู้จุดหมายที่แน่ชัดไม่น่าจะเป็นไอเดียที่ดีซักเท่าไหร่ การมีคนท้องถิ่นคอยช่วยนำทาง คอยพาไปที่ๆถ่ายรูปออกมาแล้วสวยชัวร์ก็เป็นอะไรที่ตอบโจทย์ ยอมจ่ายนะ
Surely when in SF, we want beautiful photos of the Golden Gate Bridge and we know that morning light is best for photography. But just us two in the city we’ve never been, wandering around early in the morning probably is not a good idea. Why not having a local expert take us to the place!
เวลานัดพบของเรากับลารี่คือตอนเช้าตรู่ ตี 5 ครึ่ง เราก็ตื่นตั้งแต่ตี 4 อาบน้ำแต่งตัว กินซีเรียลรองท้อง นัดอูเบอร์ให้ไปส่งที่จุดนัดพบที่ Vista Point เรามาถึงก่อนเวลานิดนึง ตรงนี้เป็นลานจอดรถซึ่งมองไปก็เห็นสะพานโกลเดนเกตแล้วล่ะ เนื่องจากถ่ายรูปเป็นอยู่แล้วก็เลยถ่ายกันเองไปก่อน ลารี่มาตรงเวลาเป๊ะ คุยเล่นทักทายกันอย่างกับรู้จักกันมานาน แล้วเค้าก็พาไปยังที่แรก มุมนี้เห็นสะพานเต็มๆ สวยงามมาก ช่วงเวลาจากที่มืดๆแล้วค่อยๆมีแสงสีทองเรืองรองฉาบไปทั่วท้องฟ้าเป็นอะไรที่เราโปรดปรานที่สุดแล้ว มันสงบ มันสวยงาม ทุกครั้งที่อยู่ในช่วงเวลานี้ เราจะไม่ค่อยทำอะไร ถ่ายรูปไว้เป็นความทรงจำเสร็จ ก็มักจะยืนนิ่งๆจ้องมองช่วงเวลานั้นเพื่อเก็บไว้ในความทรงจำให้นานที่สุด ก็ต้องขอบคุณลารี่ที่คอยสอนเทคนิคเล็กๆน้อยๆ และช่วยถ่ายรูปสวยๆให้ด้วย
We woke up at 4.00 in the morning, had some cereals and took an Uber to Vista Point where we’ll be meeting with Larry. We arrived a little early so we walked around the car park and take a few photos of the bridge. Larry was right on time. We introduced each other for a bit the Larry drove us to the first spot called Battery Spencer, where you can see the full view of the Golden Gate Bridge. We watched the dark sky soften to a blue and the sun rose over the horizon, took photos of this precious moment and let the moment sink in. Thank you Larry for giving us a little techniques and tips and for a lovely friendship.
