Goo Glamper, a paradise on earth where you became an owner of a private mountain with million-dollar view, a perfect place to leave the busy life behind and get close to the nature, yet still comfortable, convenient, and stay glamorous.
It was my love at first sight. Everything was beyond my expectation. The Airstream trailer is very well maintained and fully equipped. On top of that, seeing sea of mist in front of the trailer in the morning with sound of bird chirping in the background while a cool breeze touch my face is a first-class experience. ที่นี่จะเปิดให้บริการปีละ 4 เดือนเท่านั้นนะคะ ตั้งแต่เดือนพฤศจิกายน - กุมภาพันธ์

Goo Glamper will be open from 1st Nov 2020 to end of February
2. การเดินทางไปที่พัก
ทางที่พักมีรถรับส่งที่สนามบิน ขาไปรถจะไปรับตอน 3 โมง รถที่มารับเป็นรถ Hummer เท่ๆสีน้ำเงิน ได้ฟิล Glamping มากๆ จากสนามบินไปที่พักใช้เวลาประมาณ 1 ชั่วโมง ระหว่างทางไปใครอยากแวะซื้อเสบียงหรือขนมที่ 7 ก็บอกคนที่มารับได้เลย ถึงที่พักก็ประมาณ 4โมงครึ่ง รอดูแสงเย็นพอดี
Transporation
A super cool blue Hummer will pick you up at Chiang Rai Airport around 3pm. It takes about an hour from the airport to Goo Glamper, just in time for the evening golden hour. If you want to make a stop to grab some snacks from 7-11, just tell the drive, he’s very nice and kind.

Check in 3 โมง / Check out 11 โมง

4. นอนในรถกันยังไง นอนได้กี่คน
ในรถบ้านนอนได้มากสุด 3 คน ด้านในรถทำเป็นเตียงใหญ่นอนได้ 2 คน และตรงกลางรถปกติเป็นโต๊ะทานข้าวก็สามารถปรับเป็นที่นอนสำหรับ1คนได้ แต่ถ้าจะให้ดีคิดว่าในรถอยู่ 2 คนน่าจะเหมาะที่สุด ไม่อึดอัด
How many people accommodated in a trailer?
The Airstream can take up to 3 persons. A queen-sized bed for 2 , and a dinette or convertible table that can be converted to a single bed. However, the camp suggested that 2 persons per trailer would be more comfortable.
5. ในรถมีห้องน้ำ ห้องอาบน้ำมั๊ย
ในรถมีสุขภัณฑ์และมีห้องอาบน้ำเล็กๆ สะดวกสบาย แล้วก็สะอาดมากๆ ด้านนอกรถ ติดกับที่พักก็มีห้องน้ำและห้องอาบน้ำแบบส่วนตัวให้อีก ตรงนี้คือวิวร้อยล้านมาก อาบน้ำไปดูหมอกไปฟินสุดๆ
Is there bathroom inside?
Yes! There’s shower box, toilet and vanity area which is very convenient. Moreover, there’s also outdoor separate bathroom with breathtakingly beautiful view.
6. ในรถมีแอร์รึเปล่า
ในรถมีแอร์นะคะ ไม่ต้องกลัวว่าจะร้อน แอร์เย็นชื่นใจ แต่ที่นี่จะปิดระบบไฟฟ้าตั้งแต่ 5 ทุ่ม เราก็สามารถเปิดหน้าต่างให้อากาศบริสุทธ์และความหนาวจากข้างนอกเข้ามาในรถได้
Is it air-con inside?
Of course. No worry about the heat, you can stay inside during the day. However, the camp shut down electricity at night from 11pm. – 7am. but the weather on the mountain at night is cool so you can leave windows open.
7. มีอุปกรณ์อะไรให้บ้างในรถ
ในรถมีอุปกรณ์ต่างๆให้ครบ มีซิงค์ล้างจาน มีตู้เย็น ไมโครเวฟ ทีวี กาน้ำร้อน ไดร์เป่าผม สบู่ ยาสระผม แปรงสีฟันยาสีฟัน ผ้าเช็ดตัว Slipper มีเตรียมไว้ให้เหมือนนอนโรงแรมเลย ที่สำคัญในรถมีกลิ่นหอมอ่อนๆ อยู่ในรถแล้วรู้สึกสะอาดสดชื่น
What are facilities inside the trailer?
Everything you need; from bathroom amenities like soap, shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste, fresh towels, slippers, hairdryer, to TV, microwave, fridge, electric kettle, sink, just like what you’d find when you stay in a hotel. Also, the scent inside is very refreshing.
8. ตื่นเช้ามาจะเจอหมอกมั๊ย
เค้าบอกว่าช่วงหน้าหนาวหมอกมาเกือบทุกวัน แล้วหมอกที่นี่คืออลังการและอยู่ใกล้ มีความเป็นส่วนตัวมาก เป็นวิวพันล้านที่อยากให้ทุกคนมาสัมผัสซักครั้ง
How much chance of mist ?
The staff said there’s mist almost every day. The sea of mist here was thick and very close to us. It’s a million-dollar view you can’t be missed
9. อยู่ที่นี่จะทานอาหารอะไร มีอาหารขายรึเปล่า
พักที่นี่มีอาหารเช้าและอาหารเย็นให้ด้วย รวมทั้งไวน์ 1 ขวด ใกล้ๆกับรถบ้านที่เรานอน จะเป็นกระท่อมส่วนกลางสามารถไปนั่งเล่นได้ มีชิงช้า มีโต๊ะเก้าอี้ให้เรานั่งชิล พวกเราทานอาหารเช้าและเย็นกันตรงนี้แหละ อาหารเย็นเป็นอาหารสไตล์ชนเผ่าอาข่า พนักงานจะก่อกองไฟแล้วย่างหมู ย่างไก่ และปิ้งข้าวให้เรา ใครอยากลองปิ้งเองด้วยก็ได้ตอนพระอาทิตย์ตก อากาศดีแบบสุดๆไปเลย เดือนตุลาช่วงเช้ากับเย็นอากาศดีมาก เมนูมือเย็นคือ หมูย่าง ไก่ย่างไส้อั่ว ยำผัก ลาบอาข่า น้ำพริกถั่ว น้ำพริกมะเขือเทศ น้ำพริกหนุ่ม ส่วนมื้อเช้าก็จะเป็นโจ้กกับอาหารฝรั่งพวกไส้กรอกไข่ แฮม มีน้ำส้มสดๆให้คั้นเองตามใจชอบด้วย
Does the rate include meals? Where to buy food?
The rate includes 1 dinner and 1 breakfast and a free bottle of sparkling wine.
There’s common are where guests come for breakfast, dinner or chill out. In the evening, staffs built a fire here and let us try cooking rice in bamboo, grill pork and chicken. Dinner was Northern and Akha style food. Our menu were; Sai Ua, Nam Prik Num, Akha spicy salad and Nam Prik, pumpkin curry, and grill pork and chicken with rice that we cooked. Breakfast was omelet, sausage, and congee served with ‘DIY’ orange juice.
10. พักที่นี่มีกิจกรรมอะไรให้ทำบ้าง
นอกจากได้สัมผัสกับความแปลกใหม่ในการนอนรถบ้านแบบหรูๆ ดูทะเลหมอกแบบใกล้ชิดในบรรยากาศส่วนตัว กิจกรรมอยางอื่นก็คือ
1. นั่งรถ UTV ไปร้านกาแฟเล็กๆน่ารักสไตล์ชาวอาข่า ได้ลองคั่วกาแฟ บดกาแฟโดยใช้ครก 5555 และชงกาแฟฝีมือตัวเองตั้งแต่ขั้นตอนแรก ออกมาดันอร่อยอีก ภูมิใจสุดๆ ตอนแรกคิดว่าจะกินไม่ได้ซะแล้ว หลังจากนี้เราก็จะได้ไปดูชาวบ้านอาข่า นั่งรถลุยน้ำตก
2. มื้อเย็นได้ลองทำอาหารอาข่าด้วยตัวเองย่างหมู ปิ้งข้าว
What are activities?
Apart from staying in a chic Airstream with spectacular view of mountain and sea of mist, other activities are:
1. Take a UTV tour to Akha View, a small and homey, hill tribe style café nearby where you can try making your own coffee from the beginning; roasting, cooking, grinding, to brewing. We tried make our coffee too and turned out it tasted great! Then drive along the village to a weir nearby.
2. Try cooking Akha style food.
ข้อห้าม / คำแนะนำ
- ไม่รับเด็กอายุต่ำกว่า 12
- Outfit เตรียมชุดหน้าหนาวมาเผื่อ ช่วงเช้ากับค่ำอากาศจะเย็นๆ
- แถวนี้จะมีพวกหนอนเยอะหน่อยเพราะใกล้ชิดธรรมชาติ เวลาเดินระวังเหยียบ
Note:
- The camp doesn’t allow kids under 12 years old due to the steep terrain.
- Bring warm outfits. The weather is cool in the morning and evening.
- As the camp is on the mountain, there’re quite a lot of flat-backed millipedes. Try not to step on them ;-)
