We’ve known The Kiroro Ski Resort for years from the famous movie Fanday as it was mainly filmed here. This year we were so excited we finally got to stay here. The hotel is grand, classy, and charming. The snow here is indeed the best powdery snow in the world as many people claimed. Its softness was just perfect for our first time skiing, lol. In this post we will show you around the Kiroro Hotel so you can plan your winter/ski trip ahead! The sooner you book, the better price you get. ;-)

เราพักที่นี่ช่วงต้นกุมภาพันธ์ 4 วัน 3 คืน กำลังดีเจอหิมะตกเยอะดีด้วย ใครจะมาเที่ยวที่นี่ต้นกุมภา เราว่าเป็นอีกช่วงเวลาที่ทุกอย่างลงตัวและหิมะกำลังสวย แนะนำให้มาช่วงนี้นะคะ แต่ก็ไม่รู้เหมือนกันว่าภาวะโลกร้อนจะทำให้ปีหน้าต่างจากนี้รึเปล่าต้องลองลุ้นกันอีกที

We think visiting Hokkaido in early February is the best period. We stayed at the Kiroro on 7th-10th Feb’ and it snowed every day. But as you know, global warming and climate change can reduce snowfall and effect period of snow so you might need to check forecast for the following years.

การเดินทาง

ลงเครื่องจากสนามบิน New Chitose เราเช่ารถจากสนามบินขับตามทางไปเรื่อยๆ แวะเทศกาลหิมะที่ Lake Shikotsu Ice Festival แล้วก็ไปถึงโรงแรมช่วงเย็นๆ ถ้าไม่แวะที่ไหนจากสนามบินมาที่ Kiroro ก็จะใช้เวลาประมาณชั่วโมงครึ่ง

บรรยากาศรอบๆโรงแรมสวยงามและโรแมนติกมากกก โดยเฉพาะตอนกลางคืนต้นสนใหญ่ๆแถวหน้าโรงแรม ถูกประดับประดาไปด้วยแสงไฟระยิบระยับสวยงาม ล้อมรอบไปด้วยปุยหิมะสีขาวนุ่มละมุนอย่างกับความฝัน ไปนั่งเล่นถ่ายรูปกันลืมหนาวไปเลย ถ้าอยากรู้ว่าสวยเหมือนฝันไปเป็นยังไงก็ต้องลองมาสัมผัสด้วยตัวเองนะค๊า

Arriving at New Chitose Airport, we rented a car and drove to Lake Shikotsu Ice Festival first then continued driving to the hotel in the evening. It takes about 1.30 hours from the airport to The Kiroro Hotel.

The area outside the hotel was beautifully decorated, especially at night. Big pine trees along the road were lit up and covered with thick white snow. Even it was freezing cold that night but we couldn’t resist the charm of snow. We sat under the trees, took turns taking photos.

On the left of the hotel building, a chapel with bell tower is a photo spot you can’t be missed.

Lobby

เข้ามาในโรงแรมปุ๊ปเราจะเจอล๊อบบี้เป็นที่แรก แขกทุกคนต้องมาเช็คอินที่นี่ ทุกอย่างสวยงามดูดี อลังการไปหมด อยู่ตรงนี้ฟิลแอบคล้ายๆกับอยู่ยุโรป ทั้งการตกแต่งทั้งบรรยากาศ โถงตรงกลางมี โซฟานุ่มๆสามารถมานั่งเล่นตรงนี้ได้ มีเตาผิงเพิ่มความอบอุ่นให้ด้วย

Walked in to the hotel, the majestic lobby welcomed us with its grandeur, magnificent chandeliers, and high ceilings. Plus, a fireplace and comfy sofa with wooden tables give a European and cozy vibes.

ห้องนอน

ห้องนอนที่นี่ตกแต่งแบบเรียบง่ายไม่หวือหวาเท่าไหร่ แต่ไฮไลท์อยู่ที่วิวนอกหน้าต่าง มองลงไปเห็น Kiroro Town แล้วก็ภูเขาสีขาวที่ถูกหิมะปกคลุมอยู่มันน่ารักมากๆเลย

Bedroom is spacious, simple yet boast terrific view of mountains covered by fresh snow.

Ice Star Resort

จะอยู่ด้านขวาของโรงแรม เดินผ่านต้นสนสวยๆไปก็เจอ นั่งจิบค็อกเทลอร่อยๆในแก้วน้ำแข็ง อยู่ในบ้านที่สร้างด้วยน้ำแข็ง ชิลยาวไปไปค่า ที่นี่เปิดตั้งแต่ 10 โมงเช้าถึงสามทุ่ม สวยทั้งกลางวันและกลางคืนเลย

Walk past the line of pine trees to the right of the hotel, you’ll find Ice Star Resort, a bar in an Igloo house where colorful cocktails served in ice glasses.

ช่วงสายๆถ้าไม่รู้จะไปไหน แนะนำให้เดินไปไปเล่นหิมะแถว Ice star Resort นี่แหละ หิมะขาวๆปุยๆเยอะมาก พวกเรากระโดดโลดเต้นปาหิมะกัน เล่นกันเพลินมารู้ตัวอีกทีจะกลายเป็นน้ำแข็งแล้วววว อยู่ดีๆก็หนาวยะเยือกสงสัยเพราะหิมะเข้าไปในเสื้อ วิ่งกลับโรงแรมกันแทบไม่ทัน

We walked around Ice star Resort and played snow fight! We enjoyed the powder snow so much we forgot about the cold. But eventually our faces and hands were getting numb so we got to ran back to the hotel, lol!

ทะลุจากล๊อบบี้โรงแรมไปทางด้านหลังเราก็จะเจอกับ Kiroro Town ตรงนี้จะเป็นศูนย์รวมของร้านและกิจกรรมต่างๆเยอะแยะมากเลย เดี๋ยวลิสสั้นๆให้นะคะ

Locates on the 2nd floor, Kiroro Town is the area where you can find shop, fitness, onsen and restaurant.

Resort Market

ที่นี่มีขายของเยอะไปหมด ทั้งเสื้อผ้าและอุปกรณ์กันหนาว Chums แบรนด์โปรดก็มา แล้วก็ยังมีของฝาก ขนมจุกจิก เครื่องดื่มครบเลย ดึกๆถ้าหิวอยากซื้อขนมก็มาที่นี่ได้ ปิดสี่ทุ่ม

You can find almost everything here, from winter wear like Northface, Chums, snack & drinks, and also souvenirs. The shop opens till 10:00pm, if you get hungry at night you can also get instant noodles here.

Fitness 24hr.

ถ้ากลางคืนยังไม่ง่วงไม่รู้จะไปไหน แวะมาออกกำลังกายได้น๊า เปิด 24 ชั่วโมงเลย

And if you want to do some workout, fitness here is open 24 hours.

Kiroro Onsen

มาที่ญี่ปุ่นไม่แช่ออนเซ็นก็เหมือนขาดอะไรไป อยู่ที่นี่มีออนเซ็นให้แช่ด้วย ชอบมากๆ เป็นออนเซ็นแยกชายหญิงนะคะ เค้าจะมีผ้าขนหนูผืนใหญ่กับผืนเล็กให้ ค่าเข้า 1,000 เยน ในออนเซ็นจะมีทั้ง Indoor และ Outdoor ด้านในจะมีบ่อที่คล้ายๆ Jacuzzi นอนให้น้ำนวดตัวสบายมากเลย ด้านนอกจะมีบ่อเป็นถังไม้ น้ำที่แช่จะเป็นน้ำแร่ที่มาจากบ่อน้ำพุร้อน100% จะไม่ร้อนจัด สามารถนั่งแช่ชิลๆ พร้อมกับดูวิวหิมะตกไปด้วย ฟินมากกก แช่เสร็จอาบน้ำสระผม ไปนอนนวดต่อ เค้าจะมีโซน Rest Room อยู่ด้านหลังของห้องแต่งตัว (ตรงนี้เป็นที่รวมชาย หญิง) มีเก้าอี้นวดเรียงรายอยู่เต็มไปหมด เราไปนอนนวดตรงนี้ได้ ไม่เสียเงิน สบายจนเกือบจะหลับเลย เปิด 11 โมงเช้าถึงห้าทุ่มค่ะ

As they said, No Japan trip is complete without going to an onsen. Here, you can enjoy immersing yourself in 100% hot spring water in both indoor and outdoor. An indoor pool comes with massage jets which is very relaxing, while outdoor pool offers amazing view and fresh air. There are also lines of massage chairs in rest area

Resort Pool

สระว่ายน้ำที่นี่เล่นได้ทั้งเด็กทั้งผู้ใหญ่ ที่พิเศษกว่าที่อื่นคือมีบ่อน้ำร้อน Stone Pool ให้แช่ด้านนอก วิวหิมะคือดีย์และสวยสุดๆ ตรงนี้ใส่ชุดว่ายน้ำลงไปแช่ได้นะคะเพราะเป็นบ่อรวมชายหญิง ที่นี่ปิด 3 ทุ่ม ใครอยากมาแช่ที่นี่ก็อย่ามาดึกมาก แต่ถ้าไม่ทันไปที่ออนเซ็นแทนได้เพราะตรงนั้นปิด 5 ทุ่มค่ะ

An indoor swimming pool is large and has a dedicated kids zone. The highlight is a hot stone pool outdoor overlooking mountain view.

เล่นสกี

มาถึงกิจกรรมกันบ้าง ขอพูดถึงสกีก่อนเลย ใครอยากเล่นสกีก็สามารถจองคอร์สเรียนได้นะคะ เราจองแบบ Private เรียน 4 คน เรียน 2 ชั่วโมงก็เล่นเป็นแล้วอะ เอาจริงๆคือไม่ได้ยากมาก เรียนจบแล้วนั่งกระเช้าไปที่ Slope แล้วเล่นสกีลงมาคนเดียวได้เลย แต่เป็น Slope ที่เตี้ยสุดสำหรับ Beginner นะ 555555

There are many winter activities to do here. This is our first time skiing. We booked 2 hours private lesson for 4 persons. It wasn’t too difficult actually. After the lesson we could get on ski lift and skied down the slope by ourselves (beginner slope though! Lol)

เรื่องอุปกรณ์เราไม่ได้เตรียมอะไรมาซักอย่างมาเช่าจากที่นี่ทั้งหมด ไม่ว่าจะเป็นเสื้อสกี รองเท้า แว่นกันแดด หมวก ที่นี่มีให้เช่าครบหมดทุกอย่าง

You can rent all the equipments here including skiwear, ski boots, goggles, helmets.

ลานสกีก็ดีงาม ที่ดีที่สุดคือหิมะนุ่มๆ ล้มก็ไม่เจ็บ ตอนเล่นสกีลงมาจาก Slope ครั้งแรกหิมะตกหนักมาก 55555 มองทางแทบไม่เห็นแต่ก็สนุกมากเลย กรี๊ดอยู่คนเดียว ปีนี้เป็นปีที่เราได้ข้ามผ่านความกลัวตั้งหลายอย่าง ทั้งดำน้ำลึก ทั้งเล่นสกี เป็นประสบการณ์ที่ดีให้กับชีวิตมากเลย

Ski slopes and light powder dry snow here are the best. When I skied down the slope it snowed heavily I could barely see the track but it was so much fun! This year I wanted to get out of my comfort zone and I’m glad I did scuba diving and skiing for the first time in my life. These are incredible experiences.

ใครที่ไม่ชอบเล่นสกีก็เล่นกิจกรรมอย่างอื่นได้ มีหลายอย่างให้เล่นมาก สนุกมากด้วย เดี๋ยวเล่าให้ฟังทีละอย่างที่เล่นมา

Apart from skiing and snowboarding, there are other interesting activities. Let’s take a look.

Snow Raft

พูดเลยว่าชอบอันนี้สุด 5555 เค้าจะให้เราจะนั่งในแพยาง มีคนลากแพอยู่ข้างหน้า แล้วมันจะเหวี่ยงไปเหวี่ยงมา กรี๊ดสนุกไปเลย ไม่น่ากลัวนะ แค่หวาดเสียวเบาๆ บางจังหวะที่โค้งเกล็ดหิมะพ่นมาใส่เต็มหน้าเลย ฮาา

Snow Raft is our favorites. We sat on a snow raft towed by an expert snowmobile driver on a track. It was so much fun and exciting, especially when the driver made sharp turns making snow blew all over our faces!

Snow Banana Boat

อันนี้เด็กๆเล่นได้ ไม่ได้เหวี่ยงแรงเหมือน Banana Boat ที่ไทย หวาดเสียวน้อยกว่า Snow Raft

Snow Banana Boat is kid friendly. It was not as fast as banana boat we usually ride in the sea in Thailand.

Mini-Snowmobile

เป็นรถเล็กไว้ขับบนหิมะ เค้าให้นั่งทีละคนนะคะ แต่ละคนก็ขับรถของตัวเองไปตามลู่หิมะที่เค้าสร้างไว้ ไม่ได้น่ากลัว เร่งความเร็วสุดแล้วก็ยังไม่น่ากลัว 5555 ตอนขับลงลู่สนุกที่สุด

Enjoy driving a one-seater snowmobile down the track with your friends. It is fun and safe with a max speed of 12km/h.

Snowshoe Experience

อันนี้ก็สนุก เค้าจะให้เราใส่รองเท้าสำหรับลุยหิมะโดยเฉพาะ เดินสำรวจเข้าไปในป่าได้ลองลุยเนินหิมะสูงๆ ใส่รองเท้านี้แล้วลุยไปได้หมดเลยแฮะ สนุกดี

Snowshoe experience is trekking into the woods on special shoes which help us walk easily on thick snow.

Sherpa Line

คือรถที่จะพาเราไปที่ด่านต่างๆ เอาจริงๆแค่นั่งบนรถนี้และมองวิวหิมะสองข้างทางก็เพลินสุดๆแล้ว

Sherpa line is a snowmobile bus that will take us between Nature Center and the Recreation Center. Just riding on Sherpa and see the view of snow along the way is enjoyable.

ร้านอาหาร

ร้านอาหารที่นี่ก็มีหลากหลายที่ให้เลือกนะคะ เราสามารถไปทานที่โรงแรมในเครือที่อยู้ใกล้เคียงได้ด้วย มีรถบัสรับส่งตลอด เราขับรถก็เลยขับไปเอง 5 นาทีถึง

There are varieties of restaurants in hotel area for you to choose or you can also take a shuttle bus to Sheraton Kiroro just five-minute away.

Hokki

เป็นร้านอาหารญี่ปุ่น ทุกอย่างที่สั่งมาสดอร่อยมากก ในร้านมีห้องส่วนตัวด้วยมากันหลายคนนั่งเม้ามอยในห้องนั้นคุยกันสะดวกดี ได้บรรยากาศญี่ปุ๊น ญี่ปุ่น

Hokki, Japanese restaurant locates at Sheraton Kiroro, serves classic Japanese cuisine from local and fresh ingredients. There're private rooms for group guest.

ห้องอาหาร Pop

เวลาทาน Breakfast จะมาทานที่นี่กัน เค้าจะมีจานหลุมเล็กๆน่ารักๆสไตล์ญี่ปุ่นให้ถือใส่ถาดตักอาหารได้ตามใจชอบ Marinate Salmon Sashimi เบคอน ไข่ปลา และอีกหลายอย่าง อร่อยมากเลย เดินตักตั้งหลายครั้ง

Pop World Buffet is where we come for breakfast every morning. The divided breakfast plate is really practical coz there're so many things to choose. We like marinated salmon sashimi, bacon, cod roe, etc.

ด้านหลังห้องอาหารนี้ มีทางเดินที่วิวสองข้างทางสวยมากกก ทานมื้อเช้าเสร็จไปเดินถ่ายรูปเล่นตรงนี้เพลินๆได้เลย

Behind Pop World Buffet there's a walk way which is really beutiful. White and soft snow covered the ground and lines of tall trees on the side.

Popke

เป็นร้านอาหารเล็กๆอยู่ตรง Kiroro Town ราเมงที่นี่ขึ้นชื่อ รสชาติกลมกล่อมชามนึงให้เยอะมากกก แบ่งกันสองคนก็ยังอิ่ม

If you get hungry during the day and feel like a bowl of hot ramen or small bites, come to Popke Cafe & Lounge.

Alla Moda

อาหารอิตาเลี่ยนจะอยู่ด้านบนของ Lobby เมนูแนะนำคือ พิซซ่าพาม่าแฮม เด็ดมากแป้งดีละมุนไปหมด เค้าทำสดๆใส่เตาเผาพิเศษ หอมกรุ่นไปเลยเอาเข้าปากแล้วรู้สึกว่าเชฟต้องตั้งใจทำมากแน่รสชาติถึงได้อร่อยขนาดนี้ ปิดท้ายด้วยของหวานอย่างทีรามิสุ อร่อย มีความสุข มื้อนี้หมดอย่างไว

Alla Moda locates on the 2nd floor, overlooking the hotel lobby. Pizza with Parma Ham is highly recommended. It's the best pizza we ever had in Japan. Also, Tiramisu is a must!.

Riverouge

บุฟเฟ่ต์ชาบูสไตล์ญี่ปุ่น มีเนื้อหมู ปลา ไก่ แกะ ผักนานาชนิดให้เลือกสรร มีทั้งซูชิ ไอศกรีม Soft Serve รสชาตินุ่มละมุนสมกับเป็นนมจาก Hokkaido อากาศหนาวๆแบบนี้ได้ซดน้ำซุปร้อนๆดีมากเลย

Buffet Rivierouge serves Shabu Shabu all you can eat buffet. The range of food are outstanding; from fresh meat, seafood, vegetable, sushi and Hokkaido soft serve.

สรุปว่ามาที่นี่รับรองว่าไม่ต้องกังวลเรื่องอาหารการกินเพราะมีร้านอร่อยๆให้เลือกเยอะแยะเต็มไปหมด อ้อ ลืมบอกไปว่าที่นี่จะมีโชว์พลุทุกวันเสาร์ ช่วงมกราคมถึงมีนาคมด้วยนะคะ เป็นวันที่เราอยู่พอดีก็เลยไปรอดู ตอนแรกคิดว่าเค้าต้องยกเลิกแน่ๆเลยเพราะหิมะตกหนักมาก ปรากฏว่ามีด้วยอ่า เป็นครั้งแรกเลยที่ได้ดูพลุสวยๆท่ามกลางหิมะที่โปรยปราย เป็นความรู้สึกที่อธิบายไม่ถูกเลย มันดีมากๆถ่ายวีดีโอไว้เดี๋ยวใส่ในคอมเม้นท์ให้ดู ^^

We'd say no worry about food when you stay at The Kiroro! By the way, there's fireworks show on weekends. We were so lucky there was one on the Saturday when we stayed. How amazing it was to watch the fireworks in the snow! We will post a VDO clip later.
